Summary/application of 2 Samuel 8-10:


  1. God kept His promises to Israel and in the future, Israel will possess all the land promised.
  2. Are we encouragers or discouragers in our everyday life with the people we meet? Am I an encourager or discourager?
  3. Fear not, but trust in the Armor of God all the time! Triune God is present in my life wherever I go and whatever my circumstances!
  4. I will recognize every day that I do not deserve the grace and mercy of God. Every day I will be filled by the Holy Spirit with knowledge, guidance, strength, conviction of sin, and the fruit of the Spirit so I will be kind and encouraging to everyone.
  5. What has God given me to steward? What does He expect me to do with it?
  6. Memorize #5 – 2 Samuel 8:15 So David reigned over all Israel; and David administered justice and righteousness for all his people.
