Summer 2018 Scripture Memory [Best verses for each week]

#1 – 6/3/2018 – 2 Samuel 2:1 David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up to one of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him, “Go up.” So David said, “Where shall I go up?” And He said, “To Hebron.”

#2 – 6/10/2018 – Ephesians 6:10-11…10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

#3 – 6/17/2018 – 2 Samuel 5:10,12…10 David became greater and greater, for the Lord God of hosts was with him. 12 And David realized that the Lord had established him as king over Israel and that He had exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.

1 Peter 3:15-16a…16  sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts a, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; 16 and keep a good conscience [a–set apart Jesus as Lord and Master in your life! NASB]  I encourage memorizing in your favorite Bible Version either KJV, NASB or one of many more at this link:

#5 – 7/1/2018 – 2 Samuel 8:15 So David reigned over all Israel; and David administered justice and righteousness for all his people.

#6 – 7/8/2018 – 2 Samuel 12:13 Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” And Nathan said to David, “The Lord also has taken away your sin; you shall not die.

#7 – 7/15/2018 – 2 Samuel 14:14 For we will certainly die and are like water that is spilled on the ground and cannot be gathered up again. Yet God does not [simply] take away life, but devises plans so that the one who is banished is not driven away from Him. [AMP]
