The Spirit is transforming believers –

2 Corinthians 3:12-18.. 15 But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; 16 but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Vv.12-14. The Israelites minds were hardened by their sin and a veil of blindness was over their soul. Today we see that same veil of blindness over more than 3/4 of the worlds population as they reject the salvation of Jesus.

Vv.15-17 Today even when they hear the Word much of the time it does not penetrate their heart and soul. However when a person hears the Word and turns with repentance and faith to Jesus the veil is taken away. The Spirit enters their soul and there is release from the bondage of sin and real freedom.

18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

V.18 Then with this unveiled soul we have the freedom to mediate on the Bible, mirror, and worship Jesus and be transformed into His image from one degree of glory to even more glory by the Holy Spirit.

Are you worshipping God with an unveiled soul in the Word? Is the Holy Spirit transforming you into the image of Jesus to even greater glory?
