Winter 2016-2017 Scripture Memory [Best Verses of Each Week]

#1- Joshua 1: 8 Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you …succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. NLT

#2-Joshua 9:14 So the men of Israel…did not ask  for the counsel of the Lord.  [about the Gibeonites.]

#3- Joshua 10:12 On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to the Israelites, Joshua spoke to the Lord in the presence of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.” 13  And the sun stood still and the moon stopped until the nation took vengeance on its enemies.  #13c- 1 Peter 1:8 You love Him even though you have never seen Him. Though you do not see Him now, you trust Him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy.  NLT

#13d- 2 Peter 3:18 grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  

My Life Vision: By the grace of God do all AA to the glory of God : Knowing God is present in my life C; Pursuing intimate relationships with Triune God J & my holiness H; Loving God and others D; Making disciples E Walking humbly F; Being thankful I  & encouraging.

Notes: AA- “all” means everything in my life with family, at work, play, pleasure, worship, church, etc.; B- 1 Corinthians 10:31; C- 1 Corinthians 6:19, John 17:22-23; D- Mark 12:30-31; E- Matthew 28:18-20; F- James 4:6-10; H- 1 Peter 1:15-16; I- 1 Thessalonians 5:18; J- 2 Peter 1:3; 3:18; 1 Peter 1:8 NLT; John 17:22; Ephesians 5:18; 3:20 NLT.
