 2 Peter 1:12-21    God’s Word is trustworthy in all ways.

Summary/Application [1-5 From Personal Study Guide (PSG)]

  1. Pray that, like Peter, you will impart the gospel to someone else on a regular basis and that you will have someone in your life doing the same. Go Make Disciples!
  1. Pray for Jesus’ return to come quickly and reveal His glory to the world.
  1. Praise God for the truth and power of His Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to illuminate your path.
  1. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you discernment as you sift through the various sources of information in this world. Choose to trust and lean on the Word of God.
  1. Pray that you would be open to the teaching and correcting of God’s Word as you strive to bring glory to Him in all you do.
  1. Memory verses: 2 Peter 1:21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

2 Timothy 2:2 The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men * who will be able to teach others also. [*and women]

2 Timothy 3: 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
